Society & Encino Chamber join forces

David Fields, executive director of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul's Council of Los Angeles, spoke to members of the Encino Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, highlighting the Society's local charitable programs.

David proudly spoke - through a PowerPoint presentation - how the Society's programs are helping to change lives in a tough economy, and how members of the chamber can help by simply donating their tax-deductible usable household goods, vehicles and/or financial gifts.

David was presented a new member's plaque, as it was the Society's first meeting as a member of the Encino Chamber of Commerce.

Thank you Encino Chamber for making St. Vincent de Paul feel so welcomed.

This Sunday, the Society of St. Vincent de Paul seeks your assistance with donations of tax-deductible clothing, household goods, electronics and misc. items - as well as newspapers. Your donations help families and individuals in need!

St. Vincent de Paul donation trucks will be at the below parishes from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. this Sunday, November 6. Feel free to drop off your donations during this time, which is known as Bundle Sunday!
