Donations to be accepted on Bundle Sunday, August 21
Help Us Help Others this Sunday by donating your tax-deductible usable clothing, household goods, electronics and misc. items - as well as newspapers - to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
St. Vincent de Paul donation trucks will be at the below parishes from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. this Sunday, August 21. Feel free to drop off your donations during this time, which is affectionately known as Bundle Sunday!

* St. Finbar: 2010 W. Olive Ave., BURBANK
* St. Barnabas: 3955 Orange Ave., LONG BEACH

SVdP sees time in the entertainment industry
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul on Saturday played a small part in what hopes to become a future television program. The Society benefited from some nice donations that will be sold in its thrift stores to help fund St. Vincent de Paul's local charitable services. This not only helps shoppers on fixed incomes, but the store revenue assists the Society's shelter program, its camp for children and daily emergency services.
