Solvang (meaning sunny fields in Danish) welcomed the sun again as it shone warmly Saturday, December 3, 2016 along the route of the annual Solvang Julefest Parade. More than 400 participants and 60 entries, including SVdPLA's camp, marched, rolled, trotted, cruised and strolled along festively decorated Mission Drive, Copenhagen Drive and adjacent streets. This year’s Solvang Julefest theme is “Celebrate Together” and thousands of spectators from near and far enjoyed the parade as well as free, post-parade visits with Santa in Solvang Park.
