SVdPLA has a brand new General Operations Director for the Los Angeles and Long Beach thrift stores! The Society is pleased to welcome Alfred Rodriquez to our team. His first day was Monday, October 26. He showed up attired in the St. Vincent de Paul polo shirt, ready to dig in!
Alfred comes to us with 28 years of experience in various retail establishments. He served as General Manager of Operations for AutoZone in Gardena, managing 72 employees and a fleet of 28 trucks. He was a member of AutoZone’s President’s Club which is composed of the top 5% highest performing managers in the nation.
Prior to AutoZone, he worked as Executive Team Leader of Operations for Target Corporation for 5 years, General Retail Manager of Party City for 4 years and General Retail Manager of Toys ”R” Us for 10 years.
His broad experience and proven track record in retail management make him a prime choice for our new General Operations Director for our thrift stores.
A dedicated family man who collects vintage bicycles as a hobby, Alfred rounds out the new face of the St. Vincent de Paul Leadership Team.
