OZANAM'S 200TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATED!

Blessed Frederic Ozanam's 200th birthday mass and reception was celebrated Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the Society's Los Angeles thrift store at 8:00 a.m.  60 people attended the mass, including Vincentians, shoppers and store and council employees.  At the end of the mass, participants sang "Happy Birthday" to Frederic while his cake was held up.  A fun reception was held afterword in the thrift store.  Happy 200th birthday Blessed Frederic!  Let us follow your example of drawing closer to God by drawing closer to the poor.
