SVdP's St. Madeleine Conference in Pomona in NEED of Christmas Toys
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s St. Madeleine Conference in Pomona, which is a group of ‘Vincentian’ volunteers who help enhance the quality of life for the local disadvantaged and working-poor throughout the year, is in GREAT need of new, unwrapped toys for local children of families who already have signed up for assistance.
According to David Rodriguez, president of the Society’s St. Madeleine Conference, toys are needed for 120 children between the ages of 8-12. Financial gifts are also appreciated to purchase the gifts. The deadline for donations is December 19.
Financial gifts – earmarked ‘2011 SVdP Christmas Help’ – can be mailed to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul St. Madeleine Conference, 931 E. Kingsley Ave., Pomona, CA 91767. Toy donations also can be dropped off at the above address from 9 am to 4:30 pm, Monday thru Friday, and 7:30 am to 5 pm on Sunday until December 19. Info: 909-865-4433.
