Society Hosts Blood Drive and Health Fair

Natalie, a generous blood donor.

There was a strong turnout at the St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store in Los Angeles on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 as the Society hosted a Blood Drive and Health Fair from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. Natalie, a participant in the blood drive, said she donates twice a year because her “Grandma is sick, but whenever she goes to the hospital she always gets the blood she needs.” Natalie believed her donation, “Could really help someone,” just as donations from other people have helped her grandma. The St. Vincent de Paul Society hopes today’s Blood Drive and Health Fair will help many in need.
