The Council's Marathon Man records his best time at age 55!
Miguel Rodriguez, a three-year employee at the Society’s Lincoln Heights thrift store, recently ran in his fourth consecutive Los Angeles Marathon. The Mexican native didn’t start competing in this 26-mile event until he was 52-years-old! Rodriguez recorded his best time this year – at the age of 55 - when he completed the course in 4:05:28, nearly 40-minutes quicker than last year. Congratulations Miguel on all your hard work and determination!
